Ashley`s Restaurant in Arundel

The sign that claimed "best Coffee east of the Mississippi" made me ponder, but the coffee was awesome, the food was awesome. If you want fast food, buy fast food. If you want an incredibly good meal hand prepared by someone that cares how it looks and tastes, have a seat and visit with friends. There is a sign that clearly states it might take a minute. The waitress was amazingly friendly and patient even though she was busy.I have had meals in small spots from Nova Scotia to South Carolina and thru California and Nevada, this is one of the best. Best breakfast, reasonable prices, leisurely pace.

We drive by here virtually everyday, but have never stopped. First I have to say that the interior is nothing like I had it pictured in my mind. Very cute, and clean. They have a counter that seats about 6 people. The rest of the seating is booths for the most part. I would estimate that they seat about 50 people.The staff was very friendly. The owner, Bob Sweeney is the chef who brought us out a complementary blueberry muffin cut in half and toasted. It was the waitress's first day, but she did a good job. We both ordered the Ashley's Special which was a fresh broccoli, tomato, spinach, artichoke, cheese omelet. Very Good!Our experience was very positive although the service was not perfect (expected for someone's first day). We'll be back!

Food is delicious especially the mexican hash but the service is definitely very slow

Found this place just by accident, drove by and decided to turn around and stop in. Good thing we did! We were really impressed. Food was amazing, home cooked, and great service. Will stop in again if ever in the area again
